Au Georges VII Hotel - Bayeux

The place was clean, the staff was extremely friendly, and the room had all the necessary essentials including a shower.

The room was clean and cozy, with out the window open. Location: the hotel was near to great restaurants and getting to-and-from the train station.

Some people working there were not particularly friendly.

The location was marvellous yet it was near downtown area, just 5 minutes by foot. There were spacious bathroom and good and cozy room❤

Super central location, just a stone's throw away from the Eveche. Plus, within walking distance to cool cafes and restaurants 🍽️.

The room at Au Georges VII was cozy and comfortable, with a nice view of the city. I felt relaxed and at peace during my stay, which was exactly what I was looking for as an old soul like me.

Personally, I didn't enjoy the shared bathroom. But I understand that some people might not mind it and still have a great time here.

The view from the hotel windows was stunning, especially the cathedral. Loved the unique theme of the rooms dedicated to English Kings and the Royal family photos throughout the hotel.

The price was a bit steep considering that the WC and shower were located outside of the room. It was a hassle to have to go out of the room every time I needed to use the bathroom or take a shower.

Central location, clean room and facilities. Friendly owner and good food in the cafe. Convenient for visiting the cathedral and tapestry museum. Recommended for a value stay in the area.

Located right in the heart of downtown, our hotel is just a stone's throw away from the magnificent cathedral. With a cafe located downstairs, you'll have easy access to a quick and delicious meal. Everything you could wish to visit in town is within a 5-10 minute walk, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. the rooms are comfortable with spacious bathrooms, and the staff is warm and accommodating. Plus, you'll enjoy a delicious breakfast with fresh baguettes and croissants.

There was a minor issue with the cleanliness of the shower grout, which could use a deep clean.

I always come back to this place. They helped with taxi tips at my first stay and I've been hooked since. It has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, snack bar, pets allowed, non-smoking rooms. See you at Easter!
